You can tell I worked in a bookstore far too long when my first thought was “Holy hell, who is going to re-shelve all those books?!”

Wow! Reading Maeve Binchy’s final novel, “A Week in Winter”. Have a great weekend 🙂

  3. That was pretty cool. I felt bad for the books that had to fall on the floor, though. I hate when I accidentally drop a book.

I’m working my way through Beyond the Gate by David Farland (Golden Queen #2). It’s an awesome book – but long. Between other things and resting my eyes, it’s slow going.

    Happy Weekend, Everyone!

I really liked the human “mannequins” posed around the room. I suspect they used hardy books for the ones that had to fall. I think I bought the first book in that series when you mentioned it the other day. Enjoy reading but do NOT strain your eyes! 🙂

I need something better to read than what I’m reading that’s for sure ! Don’t normally stick it out to the end anymore but it’s already loaded on my Kindle so I probably will.

B.E. is that David Wolverton ? I looked it up on Amazon ’cause I’m always up for a fantasy read 😀

I’m getting better at putting a book up on the DNF shelf. I used to slog my way through but I have so many books waiting to be read that I don’t want to waste time any more. (Besides, I do enough contest reading that I HAVE to finish… )

Hope you find something to read, Ban!

    • Yeah. David Wolverton and David Farland are the same guy – and that series has been published under both names. The first one’s on sale for .99 right now to raise money for Dave’s son who was in a bad accident. The Golden Queen series is SF mixed with F. If you want straight fantasy, Ban, try his Runelords series (published as Farland).
