Lawyer Guy never quite got this desperate. He’d simply pick up The Only, get settled in his comfy chair with feet up and a ball game on TV and they were both trading ZZZZZZs before I could turn around. I wouldn’t have found time to write without those moments. 😉

Oh the desperate things parents will do to get their babies to stop crying. I used to pick the Kid up, take her to the living room and sit in the rocker with her until she fell asleep. More often than not I feel asleep, too. You learn to sleep sitting up.
