Tuesday Tidbits – NYC Take 2

More pictures! These are the people pictures! From RWA 2015,k of course. First up, this is the lunch in the awesome little Italian restaurant where Charles, my HQ Desire editor took a bunch of us to lunch. That’s the funny and captivating Olivia Gates sitting next to me. She is an Egyptian-born ophthalmologist who wears shiny and writes sexy sheiks and princes. πŸ˜‰

And this is the fantabulous Jennifer Apodaca-Lyon (depends on whether you read her sexy-funny suspense, her sexy contemporaries, or her sexy paranormals as to which name to call her. She’s had a huge impact on my career and I’m thrilled to call her my friend. We hung around together a lot and had dinner at Junior’s one night.IMG_459437803

Say howdy to Sarah M. Morgan and Andrea Laurence. Getting to be the filling in that cookie is a blast! Those two rock the Desire world.IMG_459535130

Welcome to Oklahoma. That’s the fab and sister Okie Merline Lovelace on the left, Charles the middle, and me. He’s an East Coast boy but we love him anyways and made him an honorary Okie when he came out here for a conference–which is where I first met him.IMG_459535311

And last, this is the whole group of Desire authors, editors, and assistants who came to the Desire Meet-n-Greet. That lady in the front row with the darling baby boy is my “grand-editor”–Desire Sr. Editor, Stacy. Charles will be a very happy camper when she comes back from leave. πŸ˜‰ (He’s covering for her…’nuff said! πŸ˜€ ) IMG_459535507

Seriously just realized in all the times I saw you, we never had a picture taken. We got to hug, but no picture.

Got something to say?
