Are you ready for the spooky stuff? Yeah…me neither. I can’t believe October is over and NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow. Well…technically, it starts at midnight tonight. I won’t be writing then. It’s freaking cold here–like record-setting cold high temperatures and snow/sleet. I’ll be in bed snuggled under thick covers with a heating pad, a large dog, and maybe a small cat. Loki isn’t all that fond of snuggling, even when it’s cold. I will be writing though, come tomorrow morning. I have a book coming out in February. Gotta get it written!
And since today is Halloween, want to know what I find scary? Boredom. And loneliness. Probably sadness, too. As usual, the Universe has the answers and some tricks!
The real trick, Silver, for confronting boredom is to ask more questions.
For tackling loneliness, it’s to take more action.
And for easing sadness, it’s to think more of others.
Then we dance,
The Universe

So…some good advice from the Universe. I suppose I should pay close attention to said advice. There’s some good tricks here and the treats when done aren’t too shabby. Happy Halloween, Good Samhain, and stay warm!
Happy Halloween… All Hallows Eve… Samhain… Pre-Chocolate-Sale Day… ;o)
It’s supposed to be wicked cold today (for October) and I was supposed to go grocery shopping, but the thought of potential ice on the roads will probably keep me home. I’m such a weather sissy these days. (Actually, it’s less the thought of driving in poor conditions than the thought of the other drivers that scares me. They’re bad on even good days.) Stay home, stay safe, stay warm. And all successes with your writing tomorrow. :hugs:
Right back at’cha on the writing. We have sun today, if cold weather. I’ve got to hit the store tomorrow and I’m not looking forward to it because everyone else will be there because it’s pay day. Ah well. Maybe I’ll go early. And I’m staying away from the leftover Halloween candy aisle!
I did end up going yesterday because the roads were clear. Whew. If I went today, the leftover candy would definitely call to me and right now, it would be really hard to resist.
I can usually pass by the candy, even on sale. 🙂 I have to go today though. We need all the basics–dog food/treats, kitten food, milk, etc. Plus a run to the cleaners, and maybe a Starbucks for me because I deserve a treat too!
